This trio of hand-turned Oak tumblers sophisticatedly combines talented craftsmanship and true sustainability. Each one-of-a-kind piece is meticulously handcrafted from reclaimed whisky barrels, retired wine barrels, &/or American Oak offcuts, combining rich history with an earth-friendly ethos. SecondLife created the timber blanks with which each piece was handmade from, and the hand-turning of each piece was carried out by the very talented Steve from SDF Woodworks.

Small “Shot Glass” = Recycled Whisky Barrel (American Oak) [75mmH x 45mm Diameter]

Medium Tumbler = Recycled Wine Barrel (French Oak) [80mmH x 75mm Diameter]

Large Tumbler = Red & White American Oak Offcuts [100mmH x 70mm Diameter]

Please Note - These pieces have been created using only food-grade glues, oils and waxes and can be used to serve food/drink if desired. However, there is a chance that repeated washing and prolonged exposure to liquids may subject the timber to damage and we recommend that they may be best used as decorative or infrequently used drink ware items. If they are used to serve liquids, they should be oiled with food-grade mineral oils or beeswax regularly, and should be washed and dried shortly after each use. To clean, hand-wash or wipe clean only. Do not submerge or place in dishwasher.
